Privacy Policy

Your privacy is critically important to us.

It is Conferbot's policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect from you across our website, and other sites we own and operate.

We don't share your information with anyone except to comply with the law, develop our products, or protect our rights.

Like most website operators, Conferbot collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request.

Although most changes are likely to be minor, Conferbot may change its Privacy Policy from time to time, and in Conferbot's sole discretion. Conferbot encourages visitors to frequently check this page for any changes to its Privacy Policy. Your continued use of this site after any change in this Privacy Policy will constitute your acceptance of such change.

Your rights over your data

If you have a Conferbot account, you have rights over the personal data we hold about you. These include the right to access a copy of it, to correct it if it is wrong, to have it deleted, to receive it in a portable format, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can exercise most of these yourself: sign in and open Profile, then Privacy, where you can export your data or delete your account.

Deleting your data

You can delete your Conferbot account and personal data at any time from Profile, then Privacy, inside the app. Deletion is scheduled 30 days ahead so an accidental or unauthorised request can be undone, and you can cancel at any point during that window. After 30 days the account and its personal data are removed. If you cannot sign in, email [email protected] from the address on the account and we will process the request for you.

Full instructions, including what is deleted and what we are required to keep, are on our data deletion page.

Signing in with Google or Facebook

If you create an account using Google or Facebook, that provider shares your name, email address and profile picture with us so that we can create and identify your account. We do not receive your password. Removing Conferbot from your Google or Facebook account settings stops further sharing, but does not by itself delete the data we already hold — use the deletion routes above for that.
