Platform is the second decision, not the first. What decides which template you start from is the job the bot has to do - a lead qualifier asks questions and scores the answers, a support bot searches your knowledge base and escalates what it cannot answer, a store assistant looks up orders, and a booking bot has to reach a real calendar. Each of those is a different flow, and each one runs unchanged on all 8 channels above. Are these templates platform-specific?
The flow logic is not - the same template runs on every channel Conferbot supports. What is platform-specific is presentation: WhatsApp renders quick-reply buttons, Telegram has inline keyboards, and a website widget can show rich cards. Each platform page lists the templates whose message formats suit that channel best, so you start from one that already reads naturally there instead of reworking it after launch.
Are the templates free to use?
Yes. Every template in the library is free to open, customise and publish, on the free plan included. There is no per-template charge and no template marketplace to buy from. What plans differ on is volume and seats - monthly conversations, team members and advanced integrations - not which templates you may use. You can import as many as you like and keep only the flows that work.
Can I switch platforms later?
Yes, and you do not have to rebuild. A Conferbot flow is stored independently of the channel it publishes to, so you can connect a second platform, or move to a different one, and publish the same flow again. The parts worth reviewing after a switch are message formatting and any channel-specific buttons, since each platform renders those differently. The conversation logic and integrations carry over unchanged.
How does a template actually deploy to a platform?
Open the template, edit the questions and answers in the no-code editor, then connect the channel account - a WhatsApp Business number, a Telegram bot token, a Facebook page, or the widget snippet for a website. Publishing pushes the flow live on every channel you connected. Most platforms are live in about five minutes; the exceptions are those needing provider approval, such as WhatsApp Business verification.
